Disney's Hollywood Studios and Fun times at Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal's

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney's Hollywood Studios: The Art Deco streets of this theme park lead to real and replica film sets. You'll see extreme stunt shows, ride through movie history, meet the Muppets in 3-D, and learn some of the secrets of Walt Dis- ney's animation techniques. The big draw around Echo Lake is the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.

Disney's Animal Kingdom: This park, the largest of all the parks, is essentially a state-of-the-art zoo dressed up in
extravagant style. To see some of the highlights of all the parks, you'll need at least a week, maybe even more. You'll walk miles and
miles, and there's a lot of waiting in line when the parks are at their busiest (the most popular months are June to
August).

Fun times at Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal's Islands of Adventure

Universal Studios Orlando (tel: 407-363-8000): Film and TV fans can relive some of their favorite movies and see new productions in progress. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent to create thrilling special-effects rides- based on movies, of course, like Revenge of the Mummy and Men in Black. Make sure you arrive early in the day in order to find out about any special events that might be planned.
You'll need to spend most of the day here: one- and two-day tickets are available.

There's a lot of walking, though strollers and wheelchairs can be rented. The Island of Adventure is another Universal theme park, with no direct movie tie-ins. Instead, five elaborately themed zones are arrayed around a central lagoon. Cutting-edge rides, including two of the best steel roller coasters on the East Coast, keep hardened thrill-seekers happy, while gentler attractions like those at Seuss Landing-inspired by the work of the children's book author -enchant kids.
